About CEDC

Training and Outreach

CEDC has become a premiere site for training of professionals in the field of eating disorders. We are also a great resource for professionals in high schools, colleges, primary care physician offices, and fitness clubs for issues concerning intervention strategies related to addressing eating disorders.

Education and Training

Cambridge Eating Disorder Center (CEDC) has expert professionals available to present to various audiences about eating disorder related topics. We provide in-service training to high school staff, counselors, health service professionals, residence assistants, and coaches in college settings, fitness clubs, and primary care physician practices. We also conduct presentations for college and high school students.

CEDC also offers workshops on eating disorders to dieticians, mental health professionals, college and high school counselors, medical professionals, and health and fitness professionals.

On-site Training

Each year, Cambridge Eating Disorder Center (CEDC) provides excellent clinical training for professionals in psychiatry, psychology, and social work. Our training program facilitates the transfer of knowledge, obtained from clinical care, to those who will ultimately bear the responsibility for the care of patients, the development of new knowledge and the training of future generations of caregivers.
